Position Overview Thoracic Radiologist for the Department of Radiology at The Ohio State University College of Medicine/Wexner Medical Center. Faculty rank and track commensurate with academic record and experience. Night shift 4 pm–1 am. The role includes patient care, research, and education of medical students, residents, and fellows. Department/Division Overview Thoracic Imaging focuses on oncology, interstitial lung disease, and inpatient critical care. Responsibilities Night hours 4 pm–1 am; interpret plain film radiography and CT. No cardiac or aortic CTA responsibilities. Provide high‑quality patient care as part of the Thoracic Service. Contribute to clinical and imaging operations. Conduct clinical instruction, lectures, seminars, and educational offerings regionally and nationally. Mentor residents, fellows, and faculty. Support clinical and translational research; may serve as PI or Co‑I on grants or trials. Serve on departmental or university committees. Education, Training & Faculty Development Provide clinical instruction and training for medical students, residents, fellows. Collaborate with faculty and leadership to develop training opportunities. Serve as mentor and sponsor. Research & Scholarship Support clinical and translational research activities. May serve as PI or Co‑I in grants and/or clinical trials. Serve on committees representing research interests. Job Requirements M.D., D.O., or equivalent degree. Board certification in Radiology (ABR, AOBR). Subspecialty fellowship in Thoracic or equivalent experience in abdominal or emergency radiology.
