Responsibilities
- Coordinating the molding efforts on new program launches, setting up and/or revising manufacturing processes, and assisting the manufacturing operations via problem-solving
- Mentors & provides training and development to other injection molding personnel
- Create and implement strategies for continuous improvements to improve yield / throughput, part quality, and drive cost-reduction activities
- Work with equipment and material vendors to resolve machine and material issues.
- Monitor and report issues with injection molds, make recommendations for repair and/or refurbishment based on production factors such as cycles
- Must have at least 5 years of experience in the Plastic Injection Molding manufacturing industry.
- Should have a diverse technical background in injection molding processing, tooling, equipment, materials, manufacturing, and quality.
- Demonstrates ability to think out of the box and recommend options.
- RJG Master Molder certification is a PLUS.
