Product Manager, Specialty Metal and Grid Rockfon, a division of ROCKWOOL Group, is hiring a Product Manager to join our Product Management team. This position reports directly to the Head of Product Management and will be based at our Rockfon head office in Chicago, IL (60638).

Responsibilities Develop the two key product groups, identify product gaps, and create new products to drive competitive advantage and differentiation.
Act as a key technical resource and support for the Sales team.
Liaise with Finance, Engineering, Manufacturing, Sales, Sustainability, Acoustics and the wider Marketing team.
Collaborate with engineering to create strategic product and system development plans aligned with market needs and key objectives.
Execute and launch new product road maps to close gaps to competition and develop market differentiators for key stakeholders, such as installation contractors.
Work with Technical Services to identify and develop service propositions, including CAD and BIM elements.
Deliver a comprehensive training program for the entire portfolio (internal and external).
Create a range of selling tools—both online and offline—to enable the Commercial team to present the portfolio effectively.
Produce product-group focused digital content for web and social media in collaboration with Marketing Communications.
Support sustainability initiatives for both product groups.
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a construction-related field (preferred).
4+ years of product management experience in building products, especially ceilings and acoustic solutions.
Strong knowledge of the construction marketplace and ability to gain deep knowledge of our products and systems.
Excellent communication skills, comfortable presenting to executives, customers, and internal teams.
Understanding of product lifecycle in construction (specification to installation).
Familiarity with sustainability metrics and green‑building certifications (LEED, EPD, etc.)—a plus.
Understanding of supply chain and distribution channels in construction.
Market research and analysis skills, able to identify trends and customer needs.
Strategic planning experience—developing product road maps and go‑to‑market strategies.
Data analysis skills—interpreting sales data, market metrics, and customer feedback.
Pricing strategy knowledge—understanding cost structures and competitive positioning.
