Production Associate

Yoh Life Sciences is hiring for a Production Associate to support medical device assembly in San Diego, CA for a contract assignment.   You will be responsible for assembling finished goods in accordance with established procedures and quality standards. This role requires attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment. Location:  Kearny Mesa, CA  Duration: 3 month contract-to-hire Pay Rate: $26-28/hr Principal ResponsibilitiesAssemble medical devices and components according to detailed instructions and specifications.Perform quality checks on subcomponents and assembled products to ensure they meet required standards.Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.Follow all safety protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs).Report any issues or defects in the assembly process to the Production Lead or Quality Control Associate.Assist in the maintenance and calibration of assembly tools and equipment.Document production activities and maintain accurate records.Identify and recommend continuous improvement opportunities to enhance production processes. Essential RequirementsPrevious experience in a manufacturing or assembly role, preferably in the medical device industry.Good manual dexterity and attention to detail.Ability to read and follow detailed instructions and blueprints.Basic understanding of quality control principles.Strong communication and teamwork skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines.Proficient with productivity tools such as Microsoft Office and ERP software. Working ConditionsAbility to stand, walk, and move within the production area for long periods.Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment, including exposure to machinery, noise, and varying temperatures.May be required to lift items weighing up to 30 lbs.
