Job Summary (List Format) Production Manager

- Oversee daily production operations across all facility departments to ensure schedules are completed safely, efficiently, and on time.
- Manage and develop production supervisors and hourly employees, including hiring, onboarding, training, and performance reviews.
- Coordinate staffing, workflow, labor planning, and establish daily production priorities.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as labor efficiency, throughput, machine utilization, downtime, and product quality.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste, defects, downtime, and operating costs.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, company safety standards, healthcare laundry regulations, and infection-prevention protocols.
- Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to improve equipment uptime, preventive maintenance, and reliability.
- Identify and resolve bottlenecks impacting productivity, quality, or customer service.
- Standardize production procedures and implement best practices across departments.
- Prepare and present reports on production, safety, quality, labor, and financial performance to leadership.
- Maintain clean, organized, safe, and efficient production environments.
- Manage labor costs, overtime, utility usage, and other controllable operating expenses.
- Investigate safety or quality issues, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions.
