Program Coordinator / Scheduler Harborview Otolaryngology Clinic is recruiting a Program Coordinator/Scheduler to manage scheduling and coordination of patient care activities. Work Schedule Full-time, 100% FTE (40 hours per week) Day Shift (Monday – Friday) Position Highlights Only Level I trauma and burn center in the region Close proximity to public transportation Harborview ranks among the nation's top hospitals in rehabilitation care, neurology, neurosurgery and orthopedics Primary Job Responsibilities Triage medical information in a specific medical or surgical specialty Schedule post-surgery diagnostic procedures and follow-up patient appointments Act as liaison between patients, consulting physicians, referring physicians, or outside agencies to coordinate appointments, admissions, or surgery, including exchange of information written or verbally before and after patients are seen Coordinate anesthesia Obtain all necessary medical records, diagnostic studies, pathology items, etc., that are needed for patient care Assist in scheduling new patient appointments by triaging to appropriate department and physician Enter appointment information in online appointment system Coordinate pre-admission tests and procedures Schedule and ensure pre-anesthesia work‑ups are completedCoordinate direct transfer of patients from outside hospitals to UWMC with physicians, medical staff, and admitting services Other assigned duties as required Requirements High school graduation or equivalent At least two years of experience in the program specialty, OR equivalent education/experience Equivalent education and/or experience may substitute for minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements such as a license, certification, and/or registration Compensation and Benefits Pay Range: $23.41 – $33.47 per hour Benefits included; for details visit Employment Status and Other Details Shift: First Shift (United States of America).
