Job Description
We are seeking an experienced program manager with comprehensive knowledge of systems acquisition and program management principles to provide strategic and tactical program planning across short, mid, and long‑term horizons.
Comprehensive knowledge of systems acquisition and program management principles, policies, and practices (DoDI 5000.2), including understanding DoD and Air Force roles to provide strategic and tactical program planning (short-, mid-, and long-term).
Assist the program manager in assessing schedule and cost baselines, recommending solutions, and pursuing alternate courses of action.
Plan, research, analyze, and assess system acquisition for development, production, and deployment of weapons systems and associated equipment; develop strategies to meet cost, schedule, and performance objectives.
Plan, schedule, and facilitate meetings with program office teams, stakeholders, and industry to understand program requirements and emerging commercial technologies addressing warfighter capability gaps.
Formulate, recommend, and draft acquisition strategies and associated statutory/regulatory acquisition documentation in a timely manner.
Support all Acquisition Strategy reviews, develop supporting documentation, and assist the Government in drafting and reviewing Request for Proposal (RFP) documents.
Support program management reviews, senior‑level meetings/reviews, and IMP/IMS reviews; develop briefings and schedules for program status and acquisition tasks to senior management.
Analyze program operations and implement approved process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
TSSCI clearance required.
Experience in program management, with at least 10 years of experience in the relevant discipline, of which 3 years must be in the DoD.
Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships with customers.
Proficient in SharePoint (managing, uploading, editing program data and files) and Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to work independently and apply proper procedures and processes related to assigned tasks.
Experience with program planning and acquisition life cycle.
Benefits
We hire military personnel and offer a competitive salary ranging from $95,000 to $110,000 depending on experience and qualifications.
