A Project Scheduler is needed for a world class utility company in the New Albany, OH (hybrid) area.
The Project Scheduler role involves developing and analyzing project schedules using Primavera P6, providing technical guidance and training to schedulers, administering the earned value management system.

responsibilities:
  • Develop and analyze project and maintenance outage schedules using P6.
  • Administer, maintain, and operate scheduling software and reporting systems.
  • Provide technical guidance, training, and support to schedulers.
  • Facilitate schedule meetings and share lessons learned.
  • Mentor schedulers in planning and scheduling techniques.
  • Administer the earned value management system.
  • Maintain scheduling handbooks and procedures.
Skills:
  • strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and achieve goals.
  • Capacity for accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
  • Flexibility for travel and occasional temporary relocation.
  • Ability to work independently and perform scheduling analyses competently.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple projects of varying complexity.
Education and Experience:

Scheduler:
  • With a qualified Bachelor's degree, one (1) year of qualified experience.
  • With a qualified Associate's degree, three (3) years' qualified experience.
Scheduler Sr:
  • With a qualified Bachelor's degree, four (4) years' qualified experience required.
  • With a qualified Associate's degree, six (6) years' qualified experience.
  • Scheduling experience in Transmission, Substation, Construction or Engineering.
  • Preferred degrees in related fields like Engineering, Construction Management, or Project Management.
  • Proficiency in Primavera Project Planner Enterprise (P6).
  • PMP certification or equivalent preferred.
