Job Description We are seeking an experienced Application Programmer III to join our team. The candidate shall demonstrate strong experience in Python development using frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI, and an ability to design, build, and maintain reliable RESTful services and data-driven applications. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain Python applications and REST APIs. Implement web services and JSON-based integrations with internal and external systems. Develop database models, write efficient SQL, and optimize queries across relational databases. Apply OOP principles and best practices for maintainable, testable code. Use Git for version control, branching, code reviews, and CI workflows. Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis in Linux/Unix environments. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate progress and risks. Required Skills & Qualifications: 5+ years of professional Python development. Strong knowledge of Django, Flask, or FastAPI. Experience building REST APIs and working with JSON and web services. Proficiency in SQL and relational databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server. Hands-on experience with Git and version control workflows. Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles. Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments and shell usage. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Preferred Skills: Experience with API authentication, authorization, and security best practices.
