The related arts teacher candidate at Anderson Christian School must make a profession of faith and agree with the ACS statement of faith. A qualified candidate will possess a minimum of a bachelor's degree and experience teaching related arts. Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the curriculum standards

- Assess student progress and provide feedback on their performance

- Create a positive learning environment for all students

- Utilize technology and other resources to enhance the learning experience

- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and improve instructional strategies

- Provide academic advising and support to students as needed

- Participate in department meetings and professional development activities

- Stay up-to-date with current trends and research in mathematics education

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in arts or related field (Master's degree preferred)

- Teaching certification or license in Mathematics (preferred)

- Strong knowledge of visual and performing arts

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

- Ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to students of varying abilities

- Experience in curriculum development and instructional design is a plus

- Familiarity with educational technology tools and resources

- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and administrators

- Strong organizational and time management skills

Skills:

- Communication: Effective communication skills to convey mathematical concepts clearly.

- Academic advising: Ability to provide guidance and support to students regarding their academic goals.

- Education administration: Understanding of educational policies and procedures.

- Curriculum development: Experience in designing curriculum materials that align with standards.

- Instructional design: Knowledge of effective instructional strategies for teaching related arts.

- Visual and performing arts: Strong background in visual and performing arts principles, theories, and applications.

- Research laboratory: Experience or knowledge of research methodologies used in mathematics education.
