LATAM Python Go Backend Engineer (Remote) Key Job Information Work Type: Fully Remote Employment: Full-Time Experience: Requires 2+ years of professional backend software engineer experience Salary Range: $50,000 - $90,000 per year Visa Sponsorship: Not available for this role Job Description Summary The successful candidate will join a growth-stage company in a crucial role, developing the core infrastructure and systems that power a unique, innovative platform10. This is an opportunity to make a major contribution in a fast-paced environment Responsibilities (What You'll Do) Architect and build scalable, high-performance backend systems utilizing modern languages, including Python , Go , Rust , and WebAssembly Utilize various cloud services, such as Amplify, Lightsail, and Fargate, to construct a robust and secure infrastructure Work with both relational databases, like PostgreSQL , and NoSQL solutions, such as MongoDB and vector databases Work in close partnership with the foundational engineering team to deliver features that have a high impact Be given the opportunity to influence the overall direction and product vision of the platform Qualifications and Experience (Requirements) A minimum of 2+ years of full-time, post-graduate software engineering experience is required Demonstrated proficiency in programming languages like Python and Go Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, specifically AWS services (Amplify, Lightsail, Fargate), and the implementation of Access Control Lists (ACL) Experience with various databases, including PostgreSQL , MongoDB , and Vector Databases Must be adaptive and able to move quickly, capable of rapid response and changing projects as needed (you will not be responsible for more than two codebases concurrently) Must have the ability to work during standard Pacific Standard Time (PST) hours Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
