Position Overview Reporting to the Sr. Director of Sales, the Technical Sales Manager will serve, train, educate, and sell Mevotech products to current and prospective accounts by promoting the Mevotech brand, delivering superior product knowledge, and strengthening our market position. This role will focus heavily on supporting a key account, with hands-on technical training, field support, and territory development. This individual will build, maintain, and deepen strong relationships with existing and new customers by understanding their business goals and developing effective strategies to increase Mesotech’s visibility, product penetration, and brand loyalty. The Technical Sales Manager will serve as a key field presence and brand ambassador across the assigned region. Key Responsibilities  Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the competitive environment, market conditions, and regional strategic goals. Plan and prioritize customer and installer visits, establishing a consistent schedule and strategic frequency for calls and meetings. Act as the primary field contact for our Key Account Auto Parts sales reps, supporting them with training, product education, and sales enablement. Conduct in-person and virtual training sessions, including lunch & learns, installer clinics, webinars, and conference-style presentations. Educate customers and partners on all Mevotech product lines, helping drive their success and enhancing their sales effectiveness. Lead regular store visits, shop calls, booths, and ride-along with account reps to support initiatives. Present new product samples and programs with clarity and confidence to both technical and non-technical audiences. Manage and grow high-potential key accounts by identifying strategic opportunities, deepening customer relationships, and executing tailored business plans to expand market share and drive profitability. Represent Mevotech with the highest level of integrity, professionalism, and service, both in the field and with key corporate stakeholders. Maintain detailed customer records, training logs, and field activity using Salesforce, MS Office, and other tools. Track progress, measure effectiveness, and communicate wins and opportunities to internal teams. Ideal Qualifications  Minimum 5+ years of sales or technical sales experience in the automotive aftermarket or OEM parts industry. Proficient in Salesforce, MS Office (Excel, Teams, Outlook), and webinar platforms. Demonstrated ability to analyze sales performance data, utilize Salesforce CRM tools, and translate market and customer trends into actionable sales strategies. Technically inclined and confident presenting to small and large groups with tools like PowerPoint and live demos. Proven ability to build rapport and influence key decision-makers at all organizational levels. Outstanding communication, presentation, and public speaking skills. Strong initiative and ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. Bilingual in English and Spanish is a strong asset. Post-secondary education in Business, Sales, or a related technical field is preferred. A results-driven individual with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals. Valid drivers license Valid passport PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS Field-based, remote role requiring approximately 70% travel within the territory, typically following a schedule of three (3) weeks on the road and one (1) week working from home or the office . Flexibility may be required to support customer needs and business priorities. Ability to work in a dynamic environment, managing multiple tasks and responsibilities simultaneously.
