SECURITY OFFICER

WE ARE CAESARS Job Summary Responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the patrons, employees, and all properties owned by Scioto Downs. How You Will Create the Extraordinary Greeting and thanking customers as they enter and exit the gaming facility Must be able to work around animals. Makes sure customers are of age by checking ID Very Guest Service oriented. All other duties as assigned What You Will Need Must have excellent communication skills, be polite, and present a neat appearance. Must be able to read and write to ensure report completion. Must be able to work rotational shifts. Security experience helpful but not necessary Must be able to stand/walk/sit for extended periods. May be exposed to working in a noisy, smoke/secondary smoke environment. Must be at least 21. Must be able to obtain and maintain appropriate licensing. Must be able to pass a background investigation. Subject to pre‑employment drug screening. High School Diploma or equivalent. Additional Requirements Ability to push and pull up to 50 pounds Ability to lift and carry objects up to 30 pounds Ability to bend, stoop, twist, reach, and kneel repetitively Ascend and descend stairs and maintain equilibrium for an extended period Must be able to work from a standing position and/or walking motion for extended period Ability to work in a smoking and pet‑friendly environment Disclaimer These statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed in this position.
