Senior Full Stack Software Engineer - Hybrid Genesis10 is currently seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer - Hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. This role focuses on designing, developing, and supporting enterprise applications and data solutions to drive business value. The ideal candidate will combine expertise in Microsoft SQL Server, Python-based services and APIs, and React-based user interfaces to deliver scalable, secure, and reliable technology solutions in collaboration with product owners, architects, and business stakeholders. Responsibilities: Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack applications using Python and React Build scalable and secure REST APIs, microservices, and backend services Develop responsive and intuitive user interfaces using React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks Participate in technical design reviews and architectural discussions Design and optimize Microsoft SQL Server databases, schemas, stored procedures, views, and queries Analyze and improve application performance through database optimization and tuning Develop and maintain data models that support business and reporting requirements Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with enterprise standards Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and release activities Support CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes Contribute to solution documentation, operational readiness, and production support activities Develop automated testing and monitoring capabilities Troubleshoot production issues and implement sustainable solutions Follow secure coding practices and software development standards Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent experience 5+ years of software development experience Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server development and database design Strong proficiency in Python development Experience developing modern web applications using React Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs Strong understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and best practices Experience working within Agile development environments Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Desired Skills: Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS Experience with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices Experience with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes Experience with data engineering, ETL/ELT processes, and data integration patterns Familiarity with Git, Azure DevOps, GitHub, or equivalent source control platforms Experience implementing authentication and authorization frameworks Exposure to AI/ML solutions and modern data platforms Experience supporting enterprise-scale applications Pay range: $59.53 - $67.53 per hour Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
