Senior Software Engineer Java AWS Hybrid Senior Software Engineer Payments Java AWS Location: Hybrid (Multiple U.S. Locations) Overview High-growth technology organization seeking a Senior Software Engineer to build and scale next-generation payment platforms. This role focuses on designing secure, high-volume, cloud-based payment systems and driving innovation across card issuing and payment processing capabilities. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and support scalable payment systems and APIs Build microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and cloud-native architectures Develop integrations with third-party payment providers and event-driven systems Ensure performance, reliability, and low-latency transaction processing Implement secure, compliant, and fraud-resistant payment solutions Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize production systems Automate deployments and infrastructure using CI/CD and IaC tools Partner with product and cross-functional teams to deliver new payment capabilities Mentor junior engineers and contribute to engineering best practices Qualifications Experience building distributed systems and microservices using Java and Spring Boot Strong knowledge of REST APIs, messaging systems, and event-driven architecture Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases and cloud platforms (AWS preferred) Background in building high-availability, scalable applications Familiarity with containers and orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes) Experience with monitoring, logging, and performance tuningAbility to troubleshoot complex issues in production environments Strong communication and collaboration skills Preferred Experience working with payment systems, card processing, or financial platforms Exposure to security, compliance (e.g., PCI), and encryption practices Experience with Kafka or similar streaming technologies Familiarity with AI/ML applications in data or payments environments Prior experience mentoring engineers or leading technical initiatives apply to: #J-18808-Ljbffr
