Job Description The Global OTS Deployment organization manages a complex suite of projects and programs and is responsible for strategic initiatives that cross business teams and operations groups within Amazon Fulfillment IT. Our projects deliver solutions that power the physical fulfillment of customers’ orders, including the management of site launches across the globe to support shipping packages to millions of customers worldwide. Key Responsibilities Develop and manage IT projects from beginning to end, including scope, timeline, capacity planning, resource allocation, and execution. Provide project management and direction to ensure the team understands timelines, risks, escalation paths, and roles and responsibilities. Act as an escalation point for the project team and stakeholders. Maintain knowledge of hardware and equipment standards and procure appropriate equipment orders. Proactively manage change control, communicate impacts on scope, identify risks and issues, and devise contingency plans. Identify and manage project dependencies and critical paths. Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones. Track and communicate milestones, deliverables, and risks. Provide on‑site monitoring and enforcement of installation schedules, vendor quality, and inspection of facilities to ensure adherence to corporate standards and procedures. Facilitate formal turnover with onsite teams, support partners, and monitor deliverables until launch or agreed milestone is achieved. Collaborate daily with internal and external stakeholders. Update or develop documentation on processes critical to project implementation. Travel This role requires frequent travel within the assigned region and internationally, up to 50% of the time.
