Job Title Service Engineer Location(s) Childress, TX Location & Work Conditions Candidates must live within a 45‑minute commute (preferred 15‑45 minutes) Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM On‑call support required Occasional shift flexibility required Contract extension possible Contract‑to‑hire possible U.S. Citizenship required Experience Requirements 3-5+ years in: Data center operations Field service engineering Server hardware support Enterprise infrastructure support Associate's or Bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent experience Core Technical Skills Required Server hardware troubleshooting and repair Server deployments and swaps Component replacement: CPUs Memory/RAM Power supplies GPUs Full server replacements Linux administration/support Hardware diagnostics Firmware updates Preventive maintenance Incident resolution Preferred Dell server experience Vendor certifications Water‑cooled server experience AI infrastructure exposure (not mandatory) PC building experience Soft Skills & Work Style Strong customer‑facing communication Independent onsite troubleshooting capability Detailed documentation habits Ability to follow established Plans of Action (POA) Strong prioritization and ownership Comfortable in high‑pressure environments Team‑oriented attitude Continuous learning mindset Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Comfortable working in data center environments Most Important Screening Factors Local candidate within commuting distance.
