Description Government Solutions at Leidos currently has an opening for a Software Development Analyst. This position is to help define, design, develop, test, maintain, implement, and support CAPS systems under the direction of Leidos management and IRS Subject Matter Experts, following IRS processes, using IRS specified COTS products. Responsibilities Writing and maintaining source code. Creating and maintaining software applications. Applying frameworks involved in software release/implementation. Computer programming. Translating requirements into technical design. Configuration management. System and integration testing. Bug fixing involved creating and maintaining applications and frameworks involved in a software release life cycle and resulting in a software product. Serve as a subject matter expert within technical domain area. Minimum Requirements BS degree and 12 years of relevant experience or 16+ years of relevant experience. Software Engineering skills – Java, Python, Node.js, JavaScript, SQL, REST, JSON, Spring Boot, Docker, Maven, C, C++, Objective‑C, JIRA, Github. Architecture knowledge – API Gateway, Lambda, CloudFormation, Secure AWS migration, IAM, S3, SQS, SNS, VPC, EC2, RDS/MySQL, enterprise application design, high‑ and low‑level solution design, architecture roadmap, requirements gathering and analysis, services, database, web services, SOAP/XML. Security – encrypted storage patterns, latency/uptime considerations. Possess in‑depth understanding of technical principles, theories, concepts and their application across a range of programs.
