O.liv Body Bar is searching for a highly skilled and experienced professional holding dual licenses in massage therapy and esthetics to lead our team of therapists. This role requires expertise in a wide variety of massage modalities and advanced esthetic treatments. The Lead Dual Massage & Esthetics Therapist mentors and guides other spa therapists while also provides exceptional services for our guests.
This dual role requires strong leadership and exceptional hands-on expertise. This individual will help oversee a vibrant spa environment while consistently providing treatments. They will ensure excellent guest service, smooth daily operations, and act as a role model and mentor for other therapists.

Founded in 2011, O.liv is a female-owned day spa offering a relaxing and therapeutic spa experience. The owner, a licensed massage therapist and esthetician, is passionate about creating a supportive and positive work environment for her team. O.liv boasts a team of skilled therapists and a fun, relaxed atmosphere that clients love. We offer flexible scheduling with 6-8 hour shifts, and our therapists are consistently booked with appointments thanks to their loyal clientele.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Assistant Spa Manager Duties
- Assist Spa Manager in the seamless running of spa operations.
- Maintain inventory of supplies, placing orders when necessary.
- Supervise scheduling to ensure adequate staffing and optimal guest experience.
- Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and resolve any issues with professionalism and a focus on satisfaction.
- Oversee spa cleanliness and adherence to hygiene standards.
- Support with training and development of spa team members.
- Coordinating with various departments ( desk staff, spa attendants, guest services ) to ensure a seamless guest experience.
- Provide support and coverage for the Spa Manager as needed.
Lead Therapist Duties
- Team Leadership: Train and mentor other therapists and estheticians, sharing knowledge and techniques to elevate the overall quality of services.
- Staff Scheduling and Performance Management: maintains effective staff schedules, addresses performance issues, and ensures optimal coverage for spa services.
- Inventory Management: Monitors inventory of massage supplies, places orders, and ensures proper stock levels.
- Customer Service Excellence: Maintains exemplary customer service standards, resolves guest concerns promptly, and contributes to an outstanding spa experience.
- Treatment Room Upkeep: Ensures treatment rooms are kept clean, well-organized, and maintain a relaxing atmosphere.
- Administrative Support: Assists with scheduling, seasonal marketing, and other spa operational tasks as needed.
- Service Excellence : Maintain in-depth knowledge of spa treatments.
- Provide Expert Treatments: Deliver a wide range of massage modalities and advanced facial treatments tailored to clients' specific needs and preferences ( 1 shift per week minimum, and as needed when issues arise ).
Qualifications :
- Valid License: Holds a current current TN license in both massage therapy and esthetics.
- Therapist Expertise: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a dual licensed therapist. Proficient in a variety of massage techniques & modalities and advanced skin care. Familiarity with body wraps, scrubs, or other spa treatments is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years Management or leadership role experience.
- Customer-Centric Focus: Demonstrates a passion for providing superior client care and exceeding expectations.
- Leadership Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to motivate and inspire a team of therapists.
- Organization and Time Management: Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to balance client appointments, administrative duties, and staff management.

Compensation :
- Hourly + Commission Position
- Competitive hourly wage
