Speech Language Pathologist JOB DESCRIPTION

Speech Therapy Plus LLC is looking for an energetic and motivated SLPS to join
our dynamic team in Fair Lawn and Ramsey, NJ. (we also partner with several other locations through out the state of NJ)
We are a growing private practice offering evaluation and treatment to toddlers, school-aged children and adolescents. The SLP will be expected to provide skilled intervention and parent training, while allowing for creativity and flexibility within the sessions. Speech Therapy Plus LLC focuses on building relationships with families to help children succeed across different environments.
Pediatric experience is required. Strong CFs will be considered.
Responsibilities:
Diagnose and treat clients with a variety of communication disorders.
Develop treatment plans, determining long and short-term goals, and methods to achieve success for clients with a variety of communication disorders.
Complete daily treatment notes, maintain or records (e.g. progress reports, plan of care etc.).
Collaborate with a variety of groups and/or individuals (e.g. parents, teachers, physicians, administration, other professionals, etc.) for the purpose of communicating information, resolving issues and providing services in compliance with established guidelines.
Monitor and maintain re-assessments of clients services as deemed necessary by facility and/or clients insurance carrier
Complete client and parental/caregiver education as well as provide home exercise programs when appropriate.
Maintain a friendly and supportive rapport with clients, parents/caregiver, and facility co-workers.
Job Type: Full-time and Part-time openings
(Weekend Options/flexible 3-4 work day schedule available)
