Sr. Full Stack Developer EdCast is the AI-Powered Knowledge Cloud solution for unified discovery, personalized learning, and knowledge management across the enterprise. Its award-winning platform is used internationally by Global 2000 companies and large government organizations, including NASSCOM and World Economic Forum, to solve the discovery and curation problems across all external and internal knowledge sources. EdCast's offerings include its Learning Experience Platform (LXP) and MyGuide's in-app guides, intelligence, and automation for business software. We are looking for a seasoned full-stack developer (React.js and Node.js) to build out and manage our EdCast applications for digital workspace platforms like MS Teams, Salesforce, Slack, and more. Also, to be a hands-on coder, this candidate will need to be effective at leading other developers technically in code and architecture reviews. Successful candidates will have a minimum of 4 years of recent experience with all of the skills listed below. Our project entails implementing our pre-approved UI, constructing our API, connecting the two, and setting up our server infrastructure. This includes all associated areas such as database and architecture design. Key Result Areas include: Design, architecture, and implementation of our EdCast Apps for platforms like Microsoft Teams, Slack, Facebook Workplace, Google Chrome, Cisco WebEx, and more "Pixel-perfect" implementation of our approved user interface, with attention to details Ensure the entire stack is designed and built for speed and scalability Integrate our front-end UI with the back-end APIs to enable full-scale Learning Experience Platform (LXP) capabilities in the Apps Design and implementation of continuous integration and deployment Day to day collaboration with product and other engineering teams Mentor junior team members You Are: A driven team player, collaborator, and relationship builder whose infectious can-do attitude inspires others and encourages great performance in a fast-moving environment. What you need: At least 4 years of hands-on experience building applications in React.js, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Node.js. Being up to date on the latest practices is a must, e.g., HTML5, CSS3, and ECMAScript 6 Strong front-end development skills including the use of REST APIs Server management and deployment for the relevant environment Ideally, familiarity with CSS preprocessors, bundlers, and associated languages/syntaxes/libraries {e.g., Sass, Less, and webpack} Thorough understanding of user experience preferably with the understanding of the product strategy Experience with automated testing tools Experience with developing Apps and Add-ons for the platforms like Microsoft Teams, Slack, Cisco WebEx, SFDC is a plus Appreciation for clean and well-documented code Excellent written and verbal communication skills including handling customer communications Ability to thrive in a highly collaborative cross-functional team and environment Benefits: An opportunity to get ahead in your career by building a great and exciting portfolio that helps others get ahead in theirs.
