Sr. Java Backend Developer

Senior Java Backend Developer – 26-01355 Duration: 9 months Location: Hybrid/Onsite in Atlanta, GA Employment Type: Temp W2 or C2C NTT DATA seeks an experienced Senior Java Backend Developer to join their client’s team in Atlanta, Georgia. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices architecture, REST APIs, and cloud‑native development practices. Key Responsibilities The candidate will work closely with architects, product owners, and cross‑functional teams to build high‑performance backend systems that are secure, reliable, and scalable. Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot. Build and maintain Microservices‑based architectures. Develop RESTful APIs and integrate with internal and external systems. Implement secure, resilient, and high‑performing solutions. Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability. Collaborate with product, business, QA, and DevOps teams. Participate in system design, architecture discussions, and code reviews. Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis. Write clean, maintainable, and well‑documented code. Follow Agile/Scrum development methodologies. Basic Qualifications 5+ years’ experience in Java 8/11/17. 4+ years’ experience in Spring Framework and Spring Boot. 4+ years’ experience in Microservices architecture and REST APIs. 3+ years’ experience in Spring Data JPA / Hibernate. Nice to Have Experience with SQL databases. Compensation Start hourly range: $50 to $60 . Compensation will depend on location, experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. The position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
