We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Systems Design Engineer to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of our cutting-edge broadcast infrastructure and technology projects. A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITES As our Senior Systems Design Engineer, you will be the driving force behind our key technology initiatives, including: Project Leadership: Lead and manage the entire project lifecycle for broadcast systems installations, upgrades, and migrations (e.g., control rooms, studios & technical spaces). Scope & Planning: Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders. Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and resource allocation models. Team Coordination: Coordinate and manage internal engineering teams, external vendors, contractors, and client stakeholders. Budget & Risk Management: Monitor project budgets, track expenditures, and identify/mitigate potential risks and issues to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed project documentation, including specifications, change orders, status reports, and final handover documentation. Technical Oversight: Possess a working knowledge of modern broadcast technologies (e.g., IP video/SMPTE 2110, cloud-based systems, baseband infrastructure, asset management). WHAT YOU WILL NEED Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience managing technical projects, with at least 3 years specifically focused on broadcast, A/V, or media technology systems integration. Project Management Certification: PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent certification. Technical Acumen: Strong understanding of core broadcast and IT infrastructure concepts (e.g., routing, signal flow, networking, storage). Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Software Proficiency: Expert proficiency with project management software (e.g., Smartsheet, AutoCAD, Jira) and standard office productivity tools. NICE TO HAVE Experience with IP-based broadcast solutions (SMPTE 2110, NDI, etc.). Familiarity with cloud media workflows (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
