Staff Accountant

Accountant, Real Estate 

A private equity real estate investment firm with a vertically integrated platform (property management, construction, leasing, and asset management in-house) is hiring a full-time, on-site Accountant.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and enforce accounting policies and procedures across operating entities and portfolio properties
• Manage bookkeeping for properties and operating companies, producing periodic financial reports for leadership and institutional partners
• Oversee AP and AR
• Process payroll
• Maintain audit-ready documentation
• Assist with construction and operating loan draws and related lender compliance reporting
• Support CAM reconciliations and tenant billing
• Coordinate with property management and asset management teams on accounting accuracy
• Assist with financial due diligence for acquisitions
• Support investor reporting, including K-1 delivery, capital call and distribution tracking, and investor portal accuracy

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of real estate accounting experience
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• CPA preferred
• Proficient in Excel and Word
• AppFolio and QuickBooks experience a plus
• Based in Miami, FL, or willing to relocate
