Staff Software Development Engineer

Position Summary Staff Software Development Engineer – Atlanta, GA Overview Design, deliver, and drive key technical activities for software applications across multiple technical environments. Build analytics, data, and technology platforms to support network strategy, performance, and consumer experience while ensuring high quality application design and reliable enterprise infrastructure. Responsibilities Design, develop, and implement software solutions for enterprise environments, including infrastructure for development and production. Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and processes to enhance application quality and delivery. Perform advanced data analysis and statistical modeling on structured and unstructured data to solve business problems. Develop technical designs for new applications or enhancements and coordinate with system architects on system design and UI requirements. Monitor capacity and performance of application and web server environments, diagnose issues, and tune Microsoft IIS servers for optimal performance. Participate in development of operational tools, methodologies, stress testing, and monitoring of deployed applications. Consult to identify and resolve performance and behavior issues in web applications. Provide technical support and reviews of business requirements for product-specific questions. Diagnose, isolate, and debug software problems, capturing necessary diagnostic information (traces, dumps). Contribute to long‑term strategies for web infrastructure hardware/software solutions, considering performance, reliability, scalability, and cost. Adhere to security best practices, compliance, and regulatory regulations within web and enterprise environments. Apply foundational knowledge of web Internet security, .NET, cloud concepts, and architecture to support the organization’s needs. Qualifications Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field. Minimum two (2) years of related experience; two (2) years of experience in each of the following areas: GIT and .NET XML, JSON, HTML, CSS, or JavaScript Azure Agile methodologies or SAFe Software Development Principles Frameworks: Angular, Ajax, and Bootstrap REST, SOAP, or Web Service APIs JIRA, Rally, MS SQL Server Domain support for healthcare or retail organizations Backend services development, code reviews, and peer collaboration Data modeling and solutions for analytical and reporting use cases Large‑scale application development, data science, or data analytics projects Technical feasibility, performance optimization, and scalability considerations Building efficient data pipelines using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and scheduling them Release management and production issue resolution Benefits Competitive salary range: $118,450.00 to $236,900.00 per year.
