Test Automation Quality Engineer

Test Automation Quality Engineer We are looking for an experienced Test Automation Quality Engineer (SDET) with strong hands-on expertise in Core Java, Selenium WebDriver, and RestAssured API automation testing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test solutions to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of enterprise applications. Required Skills & Experience: 6–8 years of experience in Test Automation / Quality Engineering. Strong programming skills in Core Java with hands-on experience in: Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) Java Collections Framework Exception Handling Java-based automation frameworks Strong experience with Selenium WebDriver automation, including: Page Object Model (POM) Synchronization techniques and waits Browser driver management Selenium Grid / cloud-based execution Strong experience with API automation using RestAssured, including: REST API testing Request and response validation Request/response specifications JSON schema validation Experience developing and maintaining automation frameworks. Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, defect lifecycle, and Agile processes. Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines is preferred. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Java, Selenium WebDriver, and RestAssured. Build reusable automation components and improve existing test frameworks. Perform UI and API automation testing for web-based applications. Execute functional, regression, and integration testing. Analyze automation results, identify defects, and work closely with development teams for resolution. Participate in test strategy discussions, code reviews, and automation framework enhancements. Ensure test coverage, reliability, and scalability of automation solutions.
