Overview A hospital-based travel assignment for a Sonographer / Ultrasound Tech in Burlington, VT starts 07/13/2026 for 4 weeks. Weekly pay ranges from $2,320 to $2,393 per week, with no guaranteed hours. Shift is 5x8 days. The assignment may involve floating to outpatient facilities and occasional call. Key Highlights Weekly pay: $2,320–$2,393 per week Contract duration: 4 weeks Shift: 5x8 days (day shifts) Start date: 07/13/2026 Setting: hospital-based travel assignment; potential float to outpatient facilities Scheduling: no block schedules; some call may be required Responsibilities Perform adult echocardiography studies in the echo lab using ultrasound equipment; manage a daily caseload of approximately 7–8 studies Position and prepare patients; ensure safety, comfort, and proper exam technique Acquire standard and advanced echocardiographic views; apply Doppler and Doppler-derived measurements as directed Document findings and prepare preliminary reports; enter results in the electronic health record (EPIC) and communicate with interpreting physicians Maintain equipment and follow QA procedures; adhere to infection control and safety standards Collaborate with cardiology, ICU, and other care teams; may float to outpatient facilities and participate in call coverage as required Requirements ARDMS (ARDCS) or CCI certification for ultrasound BLS (American Heart Association) EKG recognition Minimum 2 years of sonography experience EPIC experience within the past 2 years Ultrasound Tech Certification Verification (or equivalency) Benefits and Support Dedicated recruiter support during the assignment 24/7 travel and assignment support Credentialing and onboarding assistance as needed Access to scheduling resources and assignment-related information Pay Disclaimer Rule: Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
