Our mission is to protect assets and the environment, one seamless layer at a time. With our advanced technology and commitment to excellence, we deliver tailored solutions that solve real-world problems for our clients. By choosing ASSETGUARD, our clients are investing in the highest level of protection for their assets while minimizing environmental impact. Position Summary: ASSETGUARD is seeking an experienced Waterproofing Field Superintendent to lead day-to-day field operations, crews, production, quality, and execution across commercial waterproofing projects in the Dallas‑Fort Worth market. Direct hands‑on experience leading waterproofing work is required, including systems such as joint sealants, sheet waterproofing, fluid‑applied waterproofing, expansion joints, fire caulking, traffic coatings, and fluid weather barriers. The ideal candidate is a bilingual English/Spanish field leader who can keep crews moving, improve efficiency, support scheduling, enforce operational discipline, and deliver high‑quality work while representing the company professionally with general contractors, project teams, and company representatives. Field Operations Leadership: Lead daily waterproofing field operations across multiple DFW job sites, ensuring crews understand priorities, production goals, sequencing, and quality expectations. Crew Leadership and Production: Direct foremen, crew leads, technicians, and subcontracted labor as needed; keep crews moving, remove obstacles, drive productivity, and reinforce accountability in the field. Waterproofing Execution: Oversee installation and field execution of joint sealants, sheet waterproofing, fluid‑applied waterproofing, expansion joints, fire caulking, traffic coatings, fluid weather barriers, and related building envelope systems. Scheduling and Job Coordination: Support project scheduling, manpower planning, material readiness, mock‑ups, daily work plans, and coordination with project managers, general contractors, inspectors, and company representatives. Communication: Communicate clearly in English and Spanish with field employees, project teams, general contractors, and company leadership to keep work aligned and issues resolved quickly. Safety Management: Enforce job‑site safety requirements, promote a strong safety culture, and ensure crews follow company policies, site rules, and safe work practices. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve production, field efficiency, crew utilization, quality, and job execution across the waterproofing business segment. This Job is Unique Because: Salaried leadership role with company vehicle provided. Primarily local DFW market position with direct travel to job sites and limited out‑of‑area travel. Opportunity to lead and strengthen a specialized waterproofing field team in a critical business segment. High‑impact superintendent role focused on production, crew leadership, operational efficiency, and quality execution. Attractive fit for experienced waterproofing leaders seeking more local work‑life balance compared with roles requiring heavy regional or national travel. Required Qualifications: Direct commercial waterproofing experience is required. Candidates must have hands‑on field leadership experience with waterproofing systems; general construction superintendent experience without waterproofing experience is not sufficient for this role. Prior superintendent‑level experience leading waterproofing crews, field production, daily job‑site operations, and multiple active projects is strongly preferred. Demonstrated experience with waterproofing scopes such as joint sealants, sheet waterproofing, fluid‑applied waterproofing, expansion joints, fire caulking, traffic coatings, fluid weather barriers, and related building envelope systems. Bilingual English/Spanish is required. Proven ability to lead crews, drive production, improve field efficiency, enforce operational discipline, and hold teams accountable for quality and safety. Strong working knowledge of commercial construction job‑site coordination, sequencing, schedules, specifications, mock‑ups, inspections, and general contractor communication. Ability to travel daily to job sites across the Dallas‑Fort Worth market and work primarily from the field with limited office time.
