Mobile Diesel Semi Truck Mechanic Needed in Pendleton, OR
Pay - Salary + commission + bonuses
Salary Depends on experience - $45,000-100,000

Job Requirements:
Valid drivers license
CDL Preferred but will consider without
MUST be willing to work mobile - we do not have a fixed location
Communication Skills - proper spelling and grammar appreciated
Proficient computer skills / software navigation capabilities to document repairs and use email
Must have a flexible schedule
Ability to work independently

Daily tasks
Accept calls and callouts as they arrive
Drive to client location, accurately locate client based on verbal description
Communicate with clients regarding issues of vehicle
Open and Close repair orders on company issued laptop
Obtain parts from local vendors and manage inventory on the service truck
Perform repairs and inspections on variety of Class 6-8 trucks, such as brakes, tires, wiring etc
Perform basic and routine preventative maintenance on vehicles, along with DOT inspections
2+ years experience performing vehicle maintenance or must possess auto or diesel technology diploma from an accredited technical school
Repair/Replace vehicle components
Accurately complete DOT forms and all other forms of documentation in timely fashion
Maintain a high level of productivity without direct supervision
Communicate with management about jobs
Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures
Inspect and perform work on the under parts of vehicles
Keep a clean and organized service truck - including tools, parts and cab
Maintain general upkeep/maintenance of tools and company vehicle
Interact with clients through both email, phone and in person as necessary
Shift / time off
Various schedule
Days off with advance notice
Weekends required when there is work to be done
