As a Painter, you will be responsible for enhancing the aesthetic appeal and protection of our St. Louis HQ campus spaces through expertise in surface preparation, paint application, and attention to detail. You will adhere to safety protocols and use protective equipment to maintain a safe working environment.
As a Painter, you will be responsible for enhancing the aesthetic appeal and protection of our St. Louis HQ campus spaces through expertise in surface preparation, paint application, and attention to detail. - Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, taping and priming them
- Remove old paint or wallpaper and repair cracks or imperfections
- Apply a variety of coatings (latex, enamel, lacquer, epoxy paints and stains) using a variety of methods (brush, roller and sprayer).
- Utilize ladders, scaffolding, or other equipment to reach high or difficult-to-access areas
- Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality standards, including even coverage, smooth finishes, and proper color application
- Finish and refinish furniture with a variety of stains and coatings.
- Hang wall/window coverings and graphics
- Safely use power tools such as belt sander, screw gun & drill, etc. to complete tasks
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- 5+ years of interior and exterior painting experience
- Valid drivers license
Other
- 2+ years of interior and exterior painting experience specifically within a commercial environment is preferred
- Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed is preferred
- Must be willing to work Tuesday through Friday from 7:30am 4:00pm and Saturday from 6:00am 2:30pm.

The approximate hourly pay for this position is $40.61-$41.11. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
