Hansen Hunter is experiencing significant growth, and we are expanding our Accounting team to support that trajectory. This Senior Accountant role is designed for someone with a strong accounting foundation who can own core accounting processes today while helping build scalable processes, reporting, controls, and systems for the future.
The Senior Accountant will initially have meaningful responsibility for both general ledger accounting and accounts payable (AP). This includes month-end close support, journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, prepaid schedules, and financial reporting support, while also taking ownership of accounts payable processes across Ramp and NetSuite platforms. AP responsibilities will include vendor bill review, coding, approvals, payment support, reconciliations, and month-end AP close activities. A key objective of this role will be to tighten and document the AP process so it can be efficiently transitioned to another team member within the next 6 to 12 months as the department grows. As the AP process transitions, this role is expected to expand further into general ledger ownership, reporting, audit, acquired company integration, and process improvement responsibilities.
