Duties Own financial reporting for in-house fund structures and related entities, including credit strategies and joint ventures. Lead timely preparation and review of consolidated quarterly and annual financial statements and related investor reporting deliverables. Lead the month‑end close process for in-house funds and related entities, including recurring journal entries, account reconciliations, variance analysis, and internal and external financial reporting. Apply technical accounting judgment to transactions, ownership structures, and reporting matters to ensure compliance with GAAP and other applicable standards. Prepare and review workpapers, management fee calculations, waterfalls, and investor allocations in accordance with fund agreements. Analyze key drivers of financial results, fund performance, and overall portfolio activity to provide meaningful insights to management. Collaborate with Treasury and the broader execution team on fund‑level liquidity planning, including sources and uses, budgeting, and capital call and distribution notices. Partner with internal teams to ensure transactions, funding activity, and structural changes are accurately reflected in reporting deliverables. Facilitate audits by coordinating deliverables, serving as a key point of contact for external auditors, and maintaining audit‑ready documentation. Partner with external tax providers on tax analysis, notices, registrations, filings, K‑1s, tax return review, and REIT compliance. Requirements Strong technical accounting skills and working knowledge of GAAP and fund accounting; fair‑value experience preferred. Ability to manage financial reporting across varied investment structures with sound judgment and attention to detail. Strong organizational and process management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment. Strong communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to work effectively with internal teams, auditors, and tax providers. Ability to review work, provide feedback, and mentor junior team members. Commercial real estate and/or private equity experience preferred. Advanced Excel skills required; proficiency in Word and PowerPoint preferred. Experience with Yardi and Workiva is a plus. High level of professionalism, independent judgment, and discretion with confidential information. Highly motivated self‑starter with a proactive approach and strong sense of ownership.
