JOB DESCRIPTION:

Nexus Therapy is now hiring for a full-time on-site speech-language pathologist position for the remainder of the 23-24 school year! This position would be working on-site with early childhood education students in a great school district near Romeoville, Illinois. This position pays $60 per hour and you can bill for up to 7.5 hours per day worked (37.5 hours/week)! Must be licensed as a SLP in Illinois. SLPs seeking a Clinical Fellowship will be considered as well.

```Duties:```
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in school-aged students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' specific needs.
- Provide therapy sessions to improve students' speech and language skills.
- Collaborate with other educators, to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
- Monitor students' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records.
- Provide education and guidance to students, families, and caregivers on speech and language development strategies.

```Qualifications:```
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Valid Illinois license or certification in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.
- Experience working with individuals with speech, language, and communication, disorders.
- Knowledge of assessment tools and therapeutic techniques used in speech-language pathology.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students, families, and other educational professionals.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Please note that additional duties may be assigned as needed.
