Position: Java Microservice Integration Lead

Duration: Full Time

Location: Chicago, IL / Dallas, TX /Charlotte, NC Hybrid role

Skills Required

• Overall IT experience of 12 to 15 Years
• 4-5+ years of experience in Implementing and Leading solutions across multiple disciplines (application architecture, infrastructure and operations, security, governance, automation, integration architecture)
• 1-2+ years of experience in the Commercial Lending Domain
• Detailed knowledge in the following: agile methodologies, database design, business analysis, systems analysis, solution architecture, software patterns, object-oriented design, n-tier
• Strong Hands-on experience in Java 11, Spring Boot, Swagger, Maven, Gradle, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes Spring Actuator, Circuit Breaker, Hystrix, Linux, DB2, Tomcat, PCF, WFRIA/REACT, Kakfa, REDIS, Automation testing framework.
  
• Strong understanding and knowledge in design and implement cloud-native application / legacy migration (Cobol to Java)
• Proven experience in implementing Microservices architectural patterns.
  
• Expertise in Spring, Spring-Boot frameworks, Confluent/Apache Kafka
• Experience in Istio, GKE Anthos
• Strong understanding of Netflix, Spring Boot
• Design the deployment architecture for Micro Services to achieve the best performance, fault tolerance, redundancy, and scalability.
  
• Good exposure on Restful APIs and stateless server approaches
• Experience with a variety of DB technologies such as SQL/NoSQL (Postgres/Cosmos DB)
• Experience in architecting with DevOps tooling and processes
• Lead and take part in cloud readiness assessments, workshops, roadmap, cost benefit analysis, and application modernization discussions.
  
• Provide architectural guidance and collaboration between stakeholder organizations to ensure that solutions meet industry requirements.
