PROJECT DETAILS

Client is seeking the services of a contractor with extensive expertise and experience related to the engineering, deployment, and maintenance of large-scale public safety wireless LMR communication systems. The primary focus of the services to be provided are quality assurance, quality control, and technical advisement for the deployment and maintenance of the Mississippi Wireless Information Network (MSWIN).

Senior QA/QC Engineer

REQUIRED CERTIFICATION(S)

Project Management certification such as Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Project Manager (CPM). Vendor must specify the certification(s). (or)
Engineering Certification or License. Vendor must specify the certification(s).

REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

# YEARS

Experience in the deployment and implementation of at least four (4) large-scale LMR wireless communication system for statewide public safety projects of similar size or scope to MSWIN

System and Component Testing and Acceptance Services

Experience with Motorola digital trunked two-way radio systems

Experience in the deployment and testing of a state-wide, five master site P25 public safety network

Experience in the deployment and testing of P25 network employing OTAR and OTAP

Experience in the design, licensing, deployment and testing of Sonet and MPLS based microwave backhaul networks consisting of 100 hops or greater

Experience in the analyses and corrective action(s) necessary to resolve microwave path performance issues

Experience in the conversion while hot (in operation) of TDMA microwave network to MPLS in networks consisting of more than 100 sites
