Job Description:We are currently seeking a Pipeline Engineering professional to join our team at Waha.
As a Pipeline Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, constructing, and maintaining pipelines for various applications.
Your role will involve collaborating with project managers, technicians, and other engineers to ensure the safe and efficient transportation of fluids and gases.
Job Responsibilities:Designing and planning pipeline systems based on project requirements and specifications.
Performing technical calculations and analysis to determine pipeline dimensions, capacities, and material requirements.
Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations for pipeline design, construction, and operation.
Collaborating with project teams to develop detailed project plans, including cost estimation, scheduling, and resource allocation.
Evaluating and selecting pipeline materials, equipment, and technologies based on performance, cost, and environmental factors.
Conducting field surveys and inspections to assess pipeline conditions, identify potential risks or issues, and recommend appropriate maintenance or repair measures.
Preparing and reviewing technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports.
Providing technical guidance and support to junior engineers, technicians, and field personnel.
Monitoring pipeline operations and performance, analyzing data, and implementing improvements or corrective measures as needed.
Ensuring adherence to safety protocols and promoting a culture of safety within the pipeline team.
Essential Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Pipeline Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Proficiency in pipeline design software and other relevant engineering tools.
Sound knowledge of pipeline engineering principles, codes, and standards.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Desired Experience:Prior experience in pipeline design, construction, or maintenance.
Familiarity with pipeline inspection techniques and integrity management practices.
Experience in utilizing GIS (Geographic Information System) for pipeline routing and mapping.
Knowledge of different pipeline materials and their application in various environments.
Understanding of project management principles and practices.
Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
