Position Summary:

The ReStore Manger will oversee the retail operations and activities to achieve a profit.

Essential Job Functions

  • Interview, hire, and train staff for the ReStore.
  • Organize and oversee the schedule of the ReStore staff.
  • Conduct performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
  • In tandem with Human Resources, handle discipline of ReStore employees.
  • Oversee staff and fulfill staffing needs for regular hours, as well as special events or high-traffic times.
  • Maintain and motivate a positive sales team through communication, incentives, and evaluations.
  • Confirm daily sales reports and cash receipts; ensure monies are deposited regularly, and reports are submitted as prescribed by company policies.
  • Address customer needs and resolve issues, ensuring positive and long-term customer relationships.
  • Ensure inventory data is correct by performing spot inventory counts and checks.
  • Collaborate with leadership and marketing to develop, coordinate, and identify cost-effective advertising.
  • Use organization software to research, analyze, and track purchases.
  • Ensure the ReStore is always looking clean and inviting.
  • Place and rotate merchandise to attract positive attention from customers.
  • Price and place new inventory in the store and POS system.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills and Education
  • High School diploma or GED, required.
  • Minimum two years of retail experience, highly preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Work well under pressure and deadlines; ability to multitask.
  • Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate staff.
  • Excellent customer service abilities.
  • Ability to develop and maintain budgets.
  • Thorough understanding of organization policies and practices.
